What is an object type?

An object type is a named group of objects with similar characteristics.

Actually, the "similar characteristics" of the objects in the group boil down to having exactly the same features.

You see, what object type an object belongs to determines what features an object has.

What about the name?

A, yes, an object type is a named group of objects with similar characteristics. The name of an object type identifies it in all MQL queries that deal with object types (which is most MQL queries).

The name must be an identifier.
